2026 at Burdick Blueberries

The blueberry fields are safely resting beneath a snowy blanket. During the winter the bushes draw energy back into their roots, preparing for another season of growth and blueberry goodness. Throughout the dormant period we remove old and damaged canes as the weather allows. For us, it’s a time of flexibility with bursts of all out pruning labor, yearly planning, and rest.

Here at Burdick Blueberries preparation for a new season is already underway as we start to shape what next summer will look like. We’re working behind the scenes on updates, events, and a few fresh ideas for the 2026 season — all rooted in the same family tradition, community spirit, and simple joy that make the Patch special year after year.

As we move through the winter months, we’ll continue sharing updates, announcements, and a look at what's ahead. Stay tuned for the full season calendar and new details as they unfold.

    Get ready for another season at Burdick Blueberries! Check our blueberries page for info on planning your visit.

    Season Start: TBA. Usually around the 2nd week of July.

    Price: TBA.

    Cash and credit accepted.

    Varieties Available: We will open with Blueray and Bluecrop.

    No dogs allowed. Please email us or call ahead if you are bringing a certified service dog.

    Please check for any picking updates before heading out for the farm. Bluems pick-your-own flower garden is open in tandem with the pick-your-own blueberry field. No reservations necessary.

  • Highlights This Year

    There’s twice as much to love at the farm this year! We’re excited to bring back our Burdick Blueberry Splash and Burdick Blueberry Butter with a whole new look. While it is still a small batch, we will have twice as much product as last year.

    Burdick Blueberry Splash. Small-batch, flavorful blueberry syrup. Perfect for mixing with your favorite beverages. Splash into mocktails, cocktails, lemonade, sparkling water or tea. Be creative!

    Burdick Blueberry Butter. A velvety small-batch blueberry spread. Made from the by-product of our Burdick Blueberry Splash, it has a full-bodied blueberry flavor. Spread on a croissant, toast, or crackers. Pair with your favorite cheeses. Swirl into yogurt, or oatmeal. Be creative!

    More Events, More Fun! In 2026 we will have two dates available for the Afternoon Tea at the Farm in June, and the Flower Workshopsin September. There will also be more dates for Yoga in the Patch starting in late May. Find more information below.

    Greet Our Farm Friends. Say hello to our pony, Morgan-Haflinger horse, and two Nigerian Dwarf goats. You might even spot two barn cats in the barn or flower garden. Learn more on our upcoming blog page.

    Horse Wagon Rides. Take a scenic ride through the blueberry fields. Details TBD.

    Thursday, May 28th: Spring Yoga in the Patch

    Thursday at 6:00pm

    Join us for a peaceful evening at Burdick Blueberries. Enjoy an all-levels outdoor yoga session surrounded by nature, led by yoga instructor and owner of Daff Dry Goods, Laura Solly of Ellicottville, NY (laurasollyyoga). Breathe deeply, stretch out, and experience the beauty of spring at the farm!

  • Saturday, June 6th: Afternoon Tea on the Farm

    Sunday 1:00 – 3:00 pm We are partnering again with Chef Sara Reynolds from Ginger Snap Patisserie, who will prepare an elegant spread of tea sandwiches, fresh fruit and signature pastries, all perfectly paired with a curated tea selection.

    Tea will be served overlooking the blueberry fields at tables set with linens and a charming mix of vintage china. This special event includes a relaxing surrey ride through the blueberry fields and a guided tour in Beth’s June flower garden. Space is limited.

    Tickets go on sale the 1st week of May.

    Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite people for a fun-filled and relaxed time on the farm. This is a family-friendly evening with room to roam, listen, and make memories together.

    Pack a picnic or pick up dinner to-go on the way, but save room to purchase a sweet treat for dessert.
