Blueberry Ice Cream

Ingredients

6 quart churn
5 cups blueberries
1 cup sugar
Juice of one lemon
4 cups milk
3 cups sugar
3 cups half & half
4 cups whipping cream
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vanilla

Instructions

Boil the blueberries and 1 cup sugar. Add the lemon juice.

Scald the milk and then add 3 cups sugar, half & half, whipping cream, salt, and vanilla.

Pour the mixture into the ice cream freezer and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
